Art that communicates the Arctic’s past and present offers a powerful tool to change the planet’s future
In much of the world, the effects of climate change are invisible. In the Arctic, they’re stark -- and evident even to the non-scientific eye. The Arctic offers epic landscapes and epochal climate-induced changes -- both of which offer a chance to make global warming visible to people around the world. This talk will explore images and stories from the Arctic as a means of raising awareness about climate change.
